A Tale as old as Time

The story of El Tornillo

El Tornillo, known as “The Screw” in English, hails from the vibrant streets of Mexico City. Born into a family of traditional luchadores, he donned his iconic mask, symbolizing his unyielding spirit and the twists and turns of his life’s journey. El Tornillo made his debut in the lucha libre world at the tender age of 17, quickly captivating audiences with his signature move, “La Espiral Infinita,” a dizzying array of aerial spins and acrobatics that left opponents disoriented and defeated.

His rise to fame wasn’t just due to his extraordinary skill in the ring; it was also his unwavering commitment to the values of honor and justice, making him a hero not only to wrestling fans but also to the broader community. El Tornillo’s backstory is one of resilience and triumph over adversity. As a child, he witnessed the struggles of his neighborhood and vowed to be a force for good, using the platform of lucha libre to inspire and uplift. He became a symbol of hope and strength, reminding everyone that, like a screw, they too can withstand pressure and hold their ground against the challenges of life.
